These include KYC Renewals, Onboarding, Quality Control (QC), Quality Assurance (QA), Client Data Management and Regulatory Engagement, as well as First Line Control Testing across both the EMEA and US regions.The Business Management function is responsible for supporting the management and business units within these functions from, a strategic, operational, risk and governance perspective ensuring the business maintains its ‘license to operate’. The Business Manager (BM) position is a strategic and execution-focused role responsible for driving operational excellence, governance, and business support across the functions.BM acts as a key enabler to leadership, ensuring seamless coordination across HR, Finance, Global Administration (GA), and business teams, while fostering a culture of continuous improvement, efficiency, and stakeholder trust.**Roles and Responsibilities****Leadership & Strategic Development*** As a member of the Business Management function and in capacity of Business Manager, provide specific support to the BU Head of EMEA COE & Americas KYC by taking responsibility for the preparation of materials & documents/presentations required to support the strategic direction and objectives of the business.* Support the Head in key strategic and operating issues tracking, monitoring and timely flagging* Represent GCIB and/or specific departments on various working groups, leads meeting as required.* Provide high-level calendar and executive support to senior leadership.* Strategically prioritize engagements to maximize leadership effectiveness.* Ensure zero-conflict scheduling through disciplined planning and governance.**Financial*** Play a role in the management of the financial & strategic annual/MTBP planning exercise across the department including HC BAU / attrition reconciliation, organization structure and other similar reporting basis reporting frequencies such as monthly, quarterly etc.* Support budget management, cost tracking, and financial forecasting* Monitor expenses and ensure adherence to financial controls and policies* Oversee vendor invoice processing and monthly provisioning activities.* Ensure accuracy and timeliness of FTE reporting and financial data.**Operational Management*** Track, monitor key deliverables, milestones, and timelines across team’s basis weekly management meeting* Support process excellence (PEX) initiatives, including tracking updates and monitoring progress* Coordination with various leads to delivery on Monthly/Quarterly Business Review* Drive accountability across all leads and AVPs including MoM, to ensure ownership and adherence to agreed timelines on action items, with follow-up to secure on-time delivery per the Weekly Bangalore Leads meeting* Lead end-to-end planning and execution of town halls, workshops, and business events including preparation of presentations, notes, as per business requirements/town hall, offsites etc.* Track & govern enterprise-System Access Matrix frameworks alongside compliance in JLM tracker (Joiner, Leavers & Movers)* Oversee end-to-end visitor and travel management (including booking, flight etc.) in collaboration with GA, ensuring seamless execution aligned with global standards**New Joiner Experience & Engagement Leadership*** Lead structured onboarding experience as a Buddy and engagement champion.* Ensure effective execution of EME & US induction programs.* Drive leadership connect initiatives (e.g., Coffee Connects) to enhance engagement and alignment.* Champion an inclusive, collaborative, and learning-driven culture**Infrastructure & Workplace Strategy*** Oversee workspace planning, hybrid work model implementation, and desk utilization.* Optimize infrastructure to support evolving business needs and employee experience.* Collaborate with GA to maintain a compliant and productive work environment**Governance, Risk & Compliance*** Actively work with teams and internal risk management departments to track, strengthen the identification, management of operational and compliance related risks impacting our team* Assist in the preparation of internal/ external audits* Drive refreshers and reminders to leads/avps on LEAP mandatory training, OBI, PAD, incident awareness etc.**Global Collaboration*** Maintain and enhance good working relationships with stakeholders, respective leads/AVPs, across the sub teams, region and globally to share best practices, provide support as and when required and working in support of the One MUFG**Job Requirements:** **SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:****Functional / Technical Competencies**:* **STRONG** **Communication** skills both **WRITTEN** + **VERBAL** to interact with Interdepartmental, Senior Stakeholder etc.* STRONG technical knowledge of **Excel, Presentation including charts & pivots & MS Office*** Attention to detail is essential* Technical and fair knowledge of managing and monitoring of head count, finance forecast, attrition* To be able to navigate and operate in a demanding and dynamic environment* Ability to independently **coordinate, collaborate and drive** the tasks of adhoc work**Work Experience:*** Individuals should have a bachelor’s degree in any stream* Significant experience in business operations, support functions, or program management* 10 -
