Manager – Business Consulting – Finance

Job Role

The Manager should have proven experience in the areas of Finance Transformation including finance function strategy, operating model and process design; digital finance and enterprise performance management. He/she will be involved in providing objective advise, expertise, guidance and specialist skills with the aim of achieving the project targets. The Manager:

• Lead client engagements and oversee delivery across work-streams
• Deliver transformation across finance processes - PTP/OTC/ RTR/ FP&A/ Tax/ Treasury

• Should have experience of key finance digital technologies across processes
• Should have broad understanding of AI / Generative AI / Agentic and their potential impact on finance processes, with keen interest in emerging trends.

• Experience in developing business cases for AI -driven initiatives, leveraging predictive analytics and scenario modelling to demonstrate benefits and ROI

• Experience in delivering automation and AI into core accounting processes—leveraging intelligent automation (RPA), machine learning, and AI-driven analytics
• Experience in developing governance frameworks for financial data integrity, compliance, and operational resilience.

• Can design target operating model (TOM) for future state processes for finance function

• Can influence and engage with executive leadership, building alignment around program investments, risks, and measurable outcomes.
• Have strong understanding of financial controls, compliance frameworks, audit readiness, and financial data governance.

• Lead the delivery / execution of high-quality deliverables and manage service quality, brand and client expectations
• Ensure compliance to the firm’s standards, processes and policies
• Contribute to the firm’s initiatives in enhancing market leadership & growth, quality, people agenda and operational excellence
• Manage senior external/internal stakeholders independently

Professional Background

• 6 - 9 years of relevant post-MBA experience - Consulting background (preferably) or Industry background (Business excellence / functional role/ Solution / Sales)
• Knowledge of current finance leading practices, technology landscape, trends, and solutions
• Relevant consulting experience with Big 4 is preferred in the India domestic market
