A boutique advisory firm is seeking a Manager/Associate Manager to oversee projects in risk management and consulting. The ideal candidate should have 8 to 12 years of experience, with a focus on financial analysis and project management. A background in banking risk management is preferred, along with a BE/B.Tech/BSc plus MBA. This position requires flexibility to manage various projects and travel as needed.

Primary Responsibilities

• The role of Manager/Associate Manager involves managing and hands‑on work in projects/assignments from end to end. Should be able to guide analysts as part of the execution team.
• Involves a fair degree of customer interaction. Mostly, this position will be the sole point of contact for the project execution.
• This role requires flexibility to be able to work on a wide plethora of projects, whether in Risk Management or Valuation (Enterprise / Portfolio), Model development, Credit assessment, etc.
• Should be able to provide pre‑sales support to the Business Development team in terms of proposal writing, presentations, and product demos.
• Involves a fair amount of travel.
• The candidate should have an analytical bent of mind with the ability to work with financial numbers.
• Proficient in the MS Office suite, e.g., Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Should have good proficiency in basic Mathematics. A good understanding of quantitative techniques used in risk management would be preferred.
• Be able to read and interpret financial statements (Profit and Loss, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow Statements) of Corporates and FIs thoroughly.
• Working knowledge of various banking and financial products. Experience in working in a Bank’s Risk Management team will be an added advantage.
• Good command of both written and spoken English, and should possess report‑writing skills.
• Ready to work under tight deadlines.
• Ready to travel on short notice.

Experience8 to 12 years. Should have at least the last 5 years of continuous experience in the above-mentioned domain.

Educational Qualification: BE / B.Tech/ BSc + MBA from a recognised institute in India. Having a CFA or an FRM would be an added advantage
