Job responsibilities

Operations Management
  1. Supervise the day‑to‑day functioning of the satellite centre, including outpatient services, outreach camps, and surgical programs.
  2. Ensure smooth patient flow, proper documentation, and adherence to hospital protocols and quality standards.
Project Coordination and Implementation
  1. Coordinate community eye health programs (e.g., cataract screening camps, pediatric eye health initiatives) in collaboration with the main hospital and local partners.
  2. Support implementation of funded projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and reporting requirements.
  3. Facilitate data collection, monitoring, and evaluation of project outcomes.
Liaison and Communication
  1. Act as the key link between the satellite centre and the main hospital for administrative, clinical, and programmatic coordination.
  2. Communicate regularly with department heads, medical teams, and partner organizations to align goals and activities.
Monitoring, Evaluation, and Reporting
  1. Maintain data on patient load, surgeries, outreach activities, and community impact.
  2. Prepare monthly reports and dashboards for review by senior management.
  3. Use data insights to identify service gaps and recommend improvements.
Community Engagement
  1. Foster strong community relationships to enhance trust and patient participation in screening and surgical programs.
  2. Collaborate with local health authorities, NGOs, and community leaders for awareness programs.
  3. Ensure culturally sensitive and patient‑centered service delivery.
Managing daily operations, including but not limited to,
  1. Assisting in hiring, training and managing staff
  2. Monitoring stores and supplies
  3. Managing secured storage, retrieval and discard of medical records as per policy
  4. Patient related queries
