Job summary

Gland Pharma is seeking a Lead Analytical R&D professional to head a team of about 5 scientists and drive advanced characterization of dosage forms including suspensions, emulsions, microspheres, inhalation products, and liposomes.

The role requires strong command of regulatory requirements and state-of-the-art analytical techniques (Dissolution, PSD, DLS, SEM, DSC, TGA, XRD, GPC, Rheology; HPLC, GC, IC) and the ability to prepare method development reports, investigations, validations, and

Qualifications

• Experience with regulatory requirements and physical/chemical characterization of dosage forms.
• Proficient in analytical techniques listed (dissolution, PSD, DLS, SEM, DSC, TGA, XRD, GPC, rheology).
• Experience in preparing development, validation, and regulatory submission reports.

Job description

Lead a complex Analytical R&D team of approximately 5 members.

• Should possess strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and the physical and chemical characterization of suspensions, emulsions, microspheres, inhalation products, liposomes, and related dosage forms.
• Should be proficient in the use of analytical techniques such as Dissolution Testing, Particle Size Distribution (PSD), Dynamic Light Scattering (DLS), Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC), Thermogravimetric Analysis (TGA), X-ray Diffraction (XRD), Gel Permeation Chromatography (GPC), and Rheology.
• Evaluate the physical and chemical properties of raw materials and finished products, including particle size, polymorphism, morphology, viscosity, and thermal behavior.
• Should have strong knowledge of chromatographic techniques, including HPLC, GC, and IC.
• Prepare method development reports, technical summaries, investigation reports, validation reports, and regulatory submission documents.Role & responsibilities
