PwC Acceleration Center India is seeking a Senior Associate to join the Cyber Managed Services team. You will work within our Advisory, Cyber, Data & Tech Risk practice to manage security incidents, analyze data, and provide practical recommendations for diverse client portfolios.

You will collaborate with global teams, apply incident management methods, and help strengthen defenses while growing your technical skills. Excellent English communication is required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

As a Cyber Managed Services Consultant Senior Associate you will support cyber incident management workstreams focused on identifying, analyzing, and resolving security incidents to help protect client systems and data. As a Senior Associate you will build meaningful client connections, anticipate team and client needs, navigate complex situations, and deepen your technical skills while using critical thinking to break down concepts and interpret data into practical recommendations. This role sits within our Advisory practice and within our Cyber, Data & Tech Risk practice, where you will contribute to managed services delivery that supports ongoing monitoring and response efforts.

In this role at PwC Acceleration Center India, you will help deliver work across Cyber, Data, and Tech Risk Managed Services while collaborating with experienced professionals in a client support setting. You will take part in analyzing incident trends, applying tools and methodologies to solve problems, and reinforcing professional and technical standards as you grow your personal brand and broaden your understanding of the business context.

Responsibilities

• Responding to cybersecurity incidents by analyzing alerts, triaging events, and coordinating containment and recovery actions
• Reviewing incident evidence from security tools, logs, and network activity to identify root cause and potential impact
• Developing remediation steps and tracking follow-up actions to reduce repeat incidents and strengthen defenses
• Supporting managed service deliverables by monitoring client environments and escalating issues based on severity and timing
• Applying cybersecurity incident management methods, threat detection techniques, and vulnerability insights to resolve complex cases
• Documenting incident details, technical findings, and response actions for client reporting and internal knowledge sharing
• Building client relationships by understanding priorities, adapting recommendations, and communicating technical information clearly
• Mentoring junior team members on incident handling activities, workflow execution, and use of security operations tools

What You Must Have

• At least a Bachelor’s degree
• At least 3 years of experience
• Oral and written proficiency in English required

What Sets You Apart

• Preference for at least one of the following fields of study: Business Studies, Computer and Information Science, Information CyberSecurity, Information Technology, Management Information Systems
• At least one of the following: One or more certifications aligned to incident response and cyber defense, including GIAC (eg., GCFA, GCIA, GCIH) or equivalent incident response credentials
• Demonstrating cybersecurity incident response experience in managed services environments
• Applying log analysis, digital forensics, and threat detection methods
• Interpreting data to guide remediation recommendations and next steps
• Building client relationships while navigating ambiguity and change
• Mentoring junior team members while maintaining professional standards
