Job summary

Polyplastics Auto Components Pvt. Ltd. in Oragadam, Tamil Nadu, seeks a Maintenance Head to lead the plant maintenance function.

You will drive preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance, manage utilities, improve machine uptime and implement TPM across the site. The ideal candidate has 10–20 years in manufacturing maintenance, a BE/BTech/Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical or Production, and strong leadership.

Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech/Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Production or related Engineering.
• 10–20 years of experience in manufacturing plant maintenance.
• Experience in plastic, automotive, engineering, or manufacturing industries preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the complete maintenance operations of the manufacturing plant.
• Develop and implement preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance schedules.
• Ensure maximum machine availability and minimize production downtime.
• Maintain utilities including compressors, DG sets, HVAC, electrical systems, and water systems.
• Supervise mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic maintenance activities.
• Drive TPM and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Plan annual maintenance budgets and control maintenance costs.
• Coordinate with production, quality, and engineering teams for smooth plant operations.
• Ensure compliance with safety, statutory, and environmental regulations.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the maintenance team for operational excellence.
