The Maintenance Executive is responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning, safety, and upkeep of infrastructure, equipment, utilities, and facilities across all Kidzonia International Preschool & Day Care centers. The role involves regular center visits, preventive maintenance, vendor coordination, repair management, safety inspections, and timely resolution of maintenance issues to ensure a safe, secure, and child-friendly environment for children, parents, and staff.
Travel to centers is mandatory
Key Responsibilities
1. Facility Maintenance Management
- Ensure proper maintenance of all preschool and daycare facilities.
- Conduct regular inspections of classrooms, activity areas, daycare rooms, offices, and common areas.
- Identify maintenance requirements and initiate corrective actions promptly.
- Monitor overall infrastructure condition and recommend improvements where necessary.
- Ensure all facilities remain operational, safe, and child-friendly.
2. Preventive Maintenance
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for all centers.
- Conduct periodic checks of electrical, plumbing, civil, and mechanical systems.
- Ensure routine servicing of equipment and fixtures.
- Minimize downtime through proactive maintenance planning.
- Maintain preventive maintenance records and schedules.
3. Repair & Breakdown Management
- Attend and resolve maintenance complaints raised by centers.
- Coordinate repair work related to electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, civil work, and general upkeep.
- Ensure timely closure of maintenance requests.
- Monitor quality of repair work and ensure long-term solutions.
- Escalate major maintenance concerns to management when required.
4. Safety & Infrastructure Compliance
- Conduct regular safety inspections across centers.
- Ensure safe functioning of electrical systems, furniture, play equipment, and fixtures.
- Identify potential hazards and take corrective action immediately.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and operational guidelines.
- Support implementation of emergency preparedness and safety procedures.
- Coordinate with maintenance contractors, technicians, and service providers.
- Obtain quotations and assist in vendor selection.
- Monitor vendor performance and service quality.
- Ensure timely completion of maintenance work by external agencies.
- Maintain records of service contracts, warranties, and vendor documentation.
6. Asset & Equipment Maintenance
- Monitor the condition and functionality of company assets and equipment.
- Maintain records of repairs, servicing, and replacements.
- Ensure proper upkeep of air conditioners, water purifiers, electrical appliances, furniture, and play equipment.
- Coordinate asset movement and installation across centers when required.
7. Utility Management
- Monitor utility services including electricity, water supply, internet connectivity, and other essential services.
- Coordinate with service providers for issue resolution.
- Ensure uninterrupted availability of utilities at all centers.
- Report recurring utility issues and recommend corrective measures.
8. Center Visits & Maintenance Audits
- Conduct regular visits to all assigned centers.
- Perform maintenance audits and submit inspection reports.
- Track closure of identified maintenance observations.
- Ensure centers maintain infrastructure standards prescribed by the organization.
- Provide recommendations for facility enhancement and upkeep.
9. New Center Setup Support
- Assist in infrastructure readiness for new center launches.
- Coordinate installation of furniture, fixtures, equipment, and utilities.
- Ensure completion of maintenance-related requirements before center commencement.
- Support renovation and expansion projects as required.
10. Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain maintenance logs and service records.
- Track maintenance complaints and closure timelines.
- Prepare periodic reports on maintenance activities and expenses.
- Maintain records of preventive maintenance schedules and vendor services.
- Support audits and management reviews through accurate documentation.
11. Budget & Cost Control
- Monitor maintenance-related expenses.
- Obtain competitive quotations for repair and maintenance activities.
- Recommend cost-effective solutions without compromising quality and safety.
- Assist in annual maintenance budgeting and expense tracking.
- Promote Kidzonia's values of care, safety, professionalism, and responsibility.
- Ensure all maintenance activities support a safe and child-friendly environment.

Required Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil Engineering, Facility Management, or related field.
- Technical certifications in maintenance-related trades will be an added advantage.
Experience
- 2–5 years of experience in facility maintenance, infrastructure management, or technical support roles.
- Experience in schools, preschools, educational institutions, healthcare facilities, retail chains, or multi-location organizations will be preferred.
- Experience in handling electrical, plumbing, civil, and general maintenance activities is desirable.
