Job summary

Infosys mainframe team is hiring a Developer (2-8 years) to interface with clients for QA, resolve issues, and ensure high service levels. You will understand requirements, create and review designs, validate architectures and guide teams in delivering optimized COBOL/CICS/DB2 code.

Responsibilities include estimating efforts, participating in solution delivery, and ensuring adherence to processes and quality standards across development and maintenance projects.

Qualifications

• Must have a strong background in mainframe technologies and related tools.
• Experience with design, estimation, and QA within delivery projects.
• Proficiency in COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2 and related IBM tools.
• Ability to review designs, ensure quality, and guide teams.

Mainframe Developer (2-8 Years) Responsibilities

A day in the life of an Infoscion As part of the Infosys delivery team, your primary role would be to interface with the client for quality assurance, issue resolution and ensuring high customer satisfaction. You will understand requirements, create and review designs, validate the architecture and ensure high levels of service offerings to clients in the technology domain. You will participate in project estimation, provide inputs for solution delivery, conduct technical risk planning, perform code reviews and unit test plan reviews. You will lead and guide your teams towards developing optimized high quality code deliverables, continual knowledge management and adherence to the organizational guidelines and processes.
