Kyndryl is seeking a seasoned Mainframe Cybersecurity Specialist to secure IBM z/OS environments, implement and maintain enterprise security controls, and ensure regulatory compliance across the mainframe estate.

You will manage user access, perform risk assessments, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to strengthen security posture while leveraging tools like IBM zSecure and ACF2 utilities. A growth-minded, collaborative mindset is essential.

Formación

• 7 to 10 years hands-on experience in ACF2 security administration, identity management, and mainframe access control on z/OS.
• Strong knowledge of mainframe security principles, compliance requirements, and security best practices.
• Expertise in administering and maintaining ACF2 IDs, dataset rules, resource rules, and Global System Options (GSO).
• Proficient in analyzing, implementing, and troubleshooting ACF2 security architecture, control mechanisms, and z/OS security frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with ACF2 utilities including ACFBATCH, ACFBSYNC, ACFCOMP, ACFDCMP, ACFNRULE, ACFRGP, and ACFXREF.
• Experienced in security monitoring, audit support, incident investigation, and policy compliance management for enterprise mainframe systems.
• Skilled in end-to-end digital certificate deployment, PKI management, and IBM Z Pervasive Encryption implementation to strengthen mainframe cybersecurity posture.

Your role

As a Mainframe Cybersecurity Specialist, you will be responsible for securing IBM z/OS mainframe environments by implementing, administering, and maintaining enterprise security controls. The role focuses on protecting critical business systems, ensuring regulatory compliance, managing user access, and mitigating security risks across the mainframe infrastructure.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience

• Strong proficiency in TSO, JCL, REXX, JES2, ISPF, and ACF2 utilities, with hands‑on experience in mainframe security administration and troubleshooting.
• Experience with zSecure, ETFA, CA Cleanup, and other security monitoring, auditing, and compliance tools; exposure to additional mainframe security products is preferred.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate effectively in global teams.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field; ITIL certification required, while CISA or other security certifications are considered an advantage.
