Job summary

DXC Technology India Private Limited invites applications for a Senior Mainframe Developer role to strengthen our legacy systems and AI-enabled modernization efforts. You will handle end-to-end development, debugging, and testing in a fast-paced environment, focusing on LIFECOMM/L70 interfaces and related modules.

Required is a strong COBOL/Assembler background, CICS, MVS/JCL, VSAM, DB2, and Easytrieve experience, plus proficiency with Generative AI tools to boost productivity and code quality.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in Mainframe application development and maintenance.
• Strong experience resolving production issues for LIFECOMM/L70 and related interfaces.
• Expertise in Assembler, COBOL, CICS, MVS/JCL, VSAM, Easytrieve, and DB2.
• Hands-on with Generative AI tools for code analysis, debugging and documentation.
• Interest in applying AI to modernize Mainframe applications and rich life insurance/annuities domain knowledge.
• End-to-end development and testing experience with technical walkthroughs and sign-offs.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute end-to-end Mainframe development and testing tasks.
• Create technical specification documents and conduct walkthroughs with stakeholders.
• Prepare and execute unit test plans; report status and risks.
• Support program management with regular progress updates.
