Job summary

Tech Mahindra in India is seeking a Magento/Adobe Commerce expert to join our e-commerce development team. You will apply design patterns, contribute to secure and scalable commerce solutions, and drive quality through automated testing and CI/CD practices.

The ideal candidate has strong PHP skills, familiarity with Git, and experience optimizing performance while ensuring backward compatibility and robust security measures across large Magento projects.

Qualifications

• Proficient in design patterns used in Magento Open Source/Adobe Commerce.
• Strong PHP programming skills with Magento ecosystem.
• Knowledge of security best practices in web/e-commerce environments.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and Bamboo.
• Familiarity with Git version control systems.
• Adobe Commerce/Magento development certifications are beneficial.
• Exposure to testing frameworks and automation tools for Adobe Commerce/e-commerce.
• Understanding of extensibility and backward compatibility in large Magento projects.
• Experience with Python or Java is a plus.”

• Good understanding of Design Patterns used in Magento Open Source/Adobe Commerce
• Experience in APP Builder(Preferred)
• Knowledge of extensibility and backward compatibility
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins and Bamboo
• Proficiency in PHP language
• Knowledge of performance tools and best practices
• At least 3 years of professional software development experience with significant exposure to Adobe Commerce (Magento).
• Understanding of security best practices in web development and e-commerce environments.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic team setting.
• Experience with version control systems, such as Git.
• Adobe Commerce (Magento) development certifications.
• Familiarity with testing frameworks and automation tools specific to Adobe Commerce or e-commerce platforms.
• Knowledge of advanced security protocols, penetration testing, and preventive security measures. * Exposure to Agile development methodologies and experience working in an Agile team.
• Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) environments.
