Job summary

Arting Digital Private Limited is seeking an experienced Magento 2 Developer to join our team in a full-time role. The candidate should have 8+ years of hands-on experience with Magento 2/Adobe Commerce, PHP, and a strong understanding of architecture, custom module development, APIs, and performance optimization.

You will design, develop, and maintain Magento 2 modules, work with REST and GraphQL APIs, and optimize the stack including MySQL, Redis, Varnish, and caching.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on Magento 2 development experience.
• Strong knowledge of Magento 2 / Adobe Commerce architecture.
• Experience in custom module and extension development.
• Strong knowledge of GraphQL & REST APIs.
• Good experience with MySQL/MariaDB and SQL optimization.
• Experience with Redis, Varnish, FPC, and Magento Indexers.
• Strong knowledge of Composer, Git, and Docker.
• Understanding of SOLID principles and design patterns.
• Experience with Magento upgrades and security patches.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, customize, and maintain Magento 2 modules and extensions.
• Develop scalable backend solutions using PHP 8.x and Magento coding standards.
• Develop and integrate REST and GraphQL APIs, including custom queries, mutations, and resolvers.
• Optimize MySQL/MariaDB, Magento indexing, caching, Varnish, Redis, and performance.
• Perform Magento upgrades, security patches, and Composer dependency management.
• Integrate third-party systems such as payment gateways, shipping, ERP, CRM, and marketplaces.
• Work with Docker, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment processes.
• Mentor junior developers and participate in code reviews.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, customize, and maintain Magento 2 modules and extensions .
• Develop scalable backend solutions using PHP 8.x and Magento coding standards.
• Work with Dependency Injection, Plugins, Observers, Events, Service Contracts, Repositories, Factories, and Extension Attributes .
• Develop and integrate REST and GraphQL APIs , including custom queries, mutations, and resolvers.
• Optimize MySQL/MariaDB , Magento indexing, caching, Varnish, Redis, and overall application performance.
• Perform Magento upgrades, security patches, and Composer dependency management.
• Integrate third-party systems such as payment gateways, shipping, ERP, CRM, and marketplaces .
• Work with Docker, Git, CI/CD pipelines , and deployment processes.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and performance bottlenecks.
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and mentor junior developers.
