Job summary

Geltec Private Limited in Bengaluru seeks a hands-on operator to run all equipment in the packing department, coordinating with operators and the department Executive to follow BMR/BPR and SOPs in full GMP compliance.

The role requires understanding process, equipment, and systems, maintaining documentation, and ensuring cleanliness, preventive maintenance planning, and timely spares to minimize production downtime.

Responsibilities

• Sufficient knowledge of machines and equipment used in company including systems, processes and practices related to maintain.
• Compliance with entry and exit procedure.
• Compliance with the instructions of BMR/BPR, SOPs, Process equipment.
• Compliance with the procedure for operation and cleaning of equipment.
• Ensure cleanliness of machine.
• To ensure the work area as Clean.
• To carry out in-process checks, and parameters as defined in BMR/BPR.
• Check room temperature and RH during the process and update in BMR/BPR.
• Updating of status label of equipment and area.
• Ensure the cleaning of in-process accessories like bins, deeps, Scoops.
• Packing Change parts shall be maintained with proper documentation.
• Plan preventive maintenance for all machines in manufacturing department and attend breakdowns.
• Monitor availability of spare parts and ensure work starts on time.
• Ensure timely availability of spares and change parts to prevent loss of production.
• Maintain good interpersonal relationship & networking with superiors peers & subordinates.
• Maintain shop floor discipline, solve routine problems and handle grievances proactively through counseling.
• Ensure proper door culture.
• Ensure implementation of PPE policy.
• Monitor GMP & PPE compliance to ensure quality and safety at site.
• Ensure GMP dress code, jewelry, hair, nails compliance.
• Record entries per batch Records.
• Make necessary entries in batch documents, logbooks and follow Good Documentation Practice.
• Compliance with Personal Hygiene and Gowning.
• Report issues to department Supervisor and higher promptly.
• Report any wounds, sickness or accidents immediately.

Job description

1. JOB PURPOSE:

To operate all equipment in department and to coordinate with operator and Executive in the packing department as per BMR/BPR and SOP in compliance with GMP.

2. KEY RESULT AREA:

• Equipment Operation & Documentation.
• Any Other Job allotted by Department Supervisor.

3. KNOWLEDGE / EXPERIENCE / SKILLS REQUIRED:

KNOWLEDGE: SSLC/ ITI/ Diploma holders.

EXPERIENCE: NIL

SKILLS: Must possess good knowledge of process, equipment's, systems, and SOPs, and Should have good communication skills, Interpersonal Skills.

4. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Record the entries as per batch Records.
• Make the necessary entries in batch documents, logbooks etc. and follow the Good Documentation Practice.
• Compliance with Personal Hygiene and Gowning Practice.
• To Report and to discuss the issues with the department Supervisor and further with superior immediately.
• To report any Open Wounds or Sick or accident immediately to the department Supervisor.
