Job summary

TekWissen is seeking an Engineer II for Machine Learning Engineering in Chennai to design, train, and deploy ML models for data-quality anomaly detection and attribution on client data. You will build ML pipelines on GCP (Vertex AI, BigQuery ML) and integrate outputs into DBT models, the DCDS scorecard, and data warehouse pipelines.

Responsibilities include championing MLOps, model versioning, drift monitoring, and collaborative definition of use cases with Product Owners, Analytics, and Service

• Build and maintain ML pipelines on GCP (Vertex AI, BigQuery ML).
• Champion MLOps practices including model versioning, drift/quality monitoring, and reproducible experiments.

Responsibilities

• Design, train, and deploy ML models for data-quality anomaly detection and for attribution / signal generation on the clients service and repair-order data
• Build and maintain ML pipelines on GCP (Vertex AI, BigQuery ML) and integrate ML outputs back into DBT models and the DCDS data-quality scorecard
• Champion MLOps best practices - model versioning, reproducible experiments, drift/quality monitoring, and documented feature engineering
• Partner with Product Owners, Analytics, and Service Engineering to define ML use cases tied to business outcomes and present clear go/no-go recommendations
• Design and build ETL/ELT pipelines on GCP to ingest, transform, and load the clients dealer data into the data warehouse at scale
• Develop and maintain DBT models for transformation, testing, and documentation; apply warehouse-first patterns for the "store 100% of dealer data" approach
• Orchestrate pipelines using Astronomer / Airflow - robust DAGs with alerting, retry logic, and SLA monitoring
• Exhibit good software engineering and design practices, analytical skills in resolving issues, and documentation
• Comfortable with DevOps, CI/CD, Pair Programming, and TDD
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and PI Planning; deliver high-quality products on-time
