Job summary

SAP is seeking an AI Expert and Architect in Bengaluru to design and deliver intelligent systems powering large-scale AI capabilities across SAP's ecosystem. You will take ideas from concept to production, building robust services, APIs, and agentic workflows that enable enterprise-grade AI applications.

You will work across Go, Java, and Python stacks, shaping architecture, mentoring engineers, and guiding standards to ensure high-quality, production-ready systems in a global enterprise context.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering experience with ML/AI in production.
• Experience architecting scalable systems, APIs, and data platforms.
• Hands-on programming in Go, Java, or Python.
• Experience with distributed systems technologies (messaging, databases, RPC).
• Practical AI/ML experience including LLMs in real-world products.
• Experience leading end-to-end initiatives from design to deployment.
• Strong CI/CD, testing practices, and cloud-native architectures.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams in global environments.
• Track record mentoring engineers and driving technical excellence.

You will tackle challenges related to scalability, performance, and reliability while integrating advanced AI capabilities into enterprise environments. You\'ll design and optimize systems across a modern technology stack, working with languages such as Go, Java, and Python, and technologies like Langgraph, Postgres, HANA, and graphql. Your work will directly impact how AI is embedded into SAP products, driving smarter automation, better decision-making, and enhanced customer experiences.

You\'ll tackle challenges around scalability, performance, and reliability while integrating advanced AI capabilities into enterprise environments. In parallel, you\'ll help define technical standards and mentor engineers, ensuring innovation translates into high-quality, production-ready systems.
