Minimum Qualifications

• 4+ years of machine learning expertise.
• Strong programming using Python, Objective‑C, or Swift.
• Good exposure to deep learning libraries such as PyTorch and TensorFlow.
• Thorough experience with common NLP algorithms and applications, including tokenization, language modelling, text decoding, and text classification.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience exercising machine learning techniques, implementing optimizers and regularizations, formulating and implementing loss functions, applying parameter tuning, reproducing and revising state‑of‑the‑art research experiments, addressing accuracy and performance bottlenecks in distributed training and inference, and benchmarking model compression methods.
• Proficiency in high‑quality coding across complex and large repositories, implementing new optimizers or loss functions, algorithm optimizations for critical performance or accuracy, refactoring or redesigning existing codebases, processing large data sets efficiently, and establishing automated synthesis, training, and evaluation pipelines across multiple internal and external APIs, while applying common object‑oriented design patterns.
• Experience with multi‑modal modelling, presenting plans, progress, and results or demos regularly and concisely.
• Experience in NLP modelling for Indian languages is desired.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and a focus on what matters.
• Results‑oriented with a desire to work in a fast‑paced environment and fight for excellence.
• Ability to communicate effectively and innovate at the detail level.
