Job summary

Qualifications

• 4-12 years proven experience as a Data Scientist/Machine Learning Engineer/GenAI expert.
• Bachelors or Master’s degree in CS, Engineering or Data Science; graduate degree preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Python, Data Science, GenAI, MLOps and cloud-based deployments.
• Experience with EDA, NLP, RAG, LLM, VectorDB, Embedding and Semantic Search techniques.
• LLMs via APIs like OpenAI and deploying open source LLMs like LLAMA/Mistral/FLAN-T5.
• LangChain/llamaindex and FastAPI proficiency is a must have.
• Runtimes like ONNX, Quantization, QLORA; knowledge of BERT, TF and PyTorch.
• CI/CD and containerized environments (K8); understanding ML operations research.
• Analytical mindset with business acumen; strong communication skills.

Job Purpose

A data scientist turns raw data into valuable applications that an organization needs in order to grow and compete. He/she builds AI models, GenAI applications/platforms with MLOPs that solve real complex banking business problems

Educational Qualifications Key Skills

• 4-12 years proven experience as a Data Scientist/Machine Learning Engineer/GenAI expert
• Bachelors or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Data Science Machine Learning relevant field; graduate degree in Data Science or another quantitative field is preferred
• Machine Learning Engineer with strong knowledge of Python, Data Science, GenAI, MLOps and cloud based deployments
• Strong knowledge of EDA, NLP, RAG, LLM, VectorDB, Prompting, Embedding and Semantic Search based techniques
• Have working knowledge of LLMs via APIs like Open AI and deploying open source LLMs like LLAMA/mistral and FLAN T5 etc.
• Strong knowledge of LangChain/ llamaindex framework and Fast API of python is a must have.
• Knowledge of runtimes like ONNX, Quantization, QLORA techniques
• Knowledge of Classification, Q&A network using BERT etc.
• Strong knowledge of tensorflow and pytorch frameworks.
• Experience using CI/CD and containerized environments (e.g. K8)
• Understanding of machine-learning and operations research
• Analytical mind and business acumen paired with problem-solving ability
• Excellent communication and presentation skills and positive attitude towards work
