Job summary

Tech Mahindra in Pune, India is seeking a skilled DB2 LUW Database Administrator to manage enterprise databases, monitor performance and ensure data integrity. You will handle backups/restores, table refresh/load, migrations, HADR, OS upgrades and patching, plus DB maintenance and tuning of long‑running queries to guarantee high availability.

Qualifications

• Experience as a DB2 LUW Database Administrator.
• Strong skills in backups, restoration and performance tuning.
• Knowledge of tablespaces, HADR and data migrations.
• Experience with OS upgrades, patching and maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

• Monitor databases and perform backups/restores.
• Load and import data via table refresh.
• Execute DB migrations and manage HADR.
• Coordinate OS upgrades and patching activities.
• Perform DB reorgs and routine maintenance.
• Tune long-running queries and optimize performance.
