Job summary

Kiwitech is seeking an experienced Java developer to design, build, and maintain enterprise-grade applications using Java, Spring Boot, and microservices. You will work with RESTful APIs, relational databases, and collaborate across frontend, QA, DevOps, and business teams.

The role emphasizes clean, scalable code, strong problem-solving, and participation in Agile ceremonies. Familiarity with AWS/GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD is a plus.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Core Java and hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC and Spring Framework.
• Experience developing REST APIs and Microservices.
• Good understanding of Hibernate/JPA and SQL with strong database concepts.
• Familiar with Maven/Gradle, Git, and unit testing using JUnit/Mockito.
• Knowledge of design patterns, OOP and Java 8+ features; strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Experience with AWS/Azure/GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka/RabbitMQ and CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
• Exposure to front-end tech such as React/Angular and agile methodologies will be beneficial.
