Job summary

Mercor, a remote-writing contract, seeks a Writing Expert to review and refine AI-generated content across articles, essays, novels, short stories, and other pieces.

You will evaluate outputs for literary quality, structure, tone, and thematic depth, and provide detailed editorial feedback to improve coherence and originality.

Collaborating with AI research teams, you will help enhance narrative content generation, working independently with flexible hours to meet project deadlines.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in creative writing across journalism, essays, novels, and short fiction.
• A substantial body of published work in recognized outlets.
