Job summary

SRM Tech is seeking a strong Linux Developer to join our telecom-focused engineering team in Bengaluru onsite. You will design, develop, and maintain Linux-based applications for 4G/5G RAN components, with emphasis on C/C++ on Linux and kernel/user-space debugging.

Candidates should have 5+ years in Linux development, experience with LTE/5G protocols, TCP/IP, and debugging. Knowledge of Git, GCC, GDB, Make/CMake, and CI/CD tools is essential; Docker, Kubernetes, and virtualization are a plus.

Qualifications

• Strong Linux development experience in telecom environments.
• Experience with 4G/5G RAN components and related modules.
• Proficiency in C/C++ on Linux and kernel/user-space debugging.
• Knowledge of telecom protocols such as LTE/5G NR, TCP/IP, SCTP, UDP, or GTP.
• Familiarity with Git, GCC, GDB, Make/CMake, and CI/CD tools.

Strong Linux developers with experience in Radios in Telecom background with 5+ years' experience

Location:

Bengaluru (Onsite)

Preferred Experience:

Knowledge of 5G, ORAN, DU/CU architecture.

Experience with embedded Linux.

Key Responsibilities:

• Understanding of RAN architecture and telecom systems.
• Experience using Git, GCC, GDB, Make/CMake, and CI/CD tools.
• Good debugging and performance optimization skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of 5G, ORAN, DU/CU architecture.
• Experience with embedded Linux.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and virtualization.
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum development.

Required Qualification:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics or in Telecommunications
