Job summary

Capgemini Engineering in India is seeking an experienced LIMS Solution Architect to lead LabVantage/LabWare projects for Life Sciences clients. You will drive laboratory digitalization, quality transformation, and scalable informatics across GMP-regulated environments.

The role requires hands-on implementation, client engagement, and CSV validation, with strong expertise in laboratory operations and data integrations. Hybrid/onsite work options available within India.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years in LIMS, Laboratory Informatics, or Life Sciences IT.
• Hands-on LabVantage and/or LabWare implementation and configuration.
• Strong grasp of CSV, GMP/GxP, and data integrity requirements.
• Experience mapping requirements and integrating ERP/MES/ELN systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end LIMS architecture, design, and implementation using LabVantage and/or LabWare.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable informatics solutions.
• Design workflows for sample management, testing, specifications, and stability.
• Implement integrations with ERP, MES, ELN, CDS, SDMS, and instruments.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, GLP, FDA 21 CFR Part 11 and CSV processes.

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced LIMS Solution Architect with expertise in LabVantage and/or LabWare to lead laboratory digitalization and quality transformation programs for Life Sciences clients. This role combines solution architecture, client engagement, laboratory process consulting, and technology leadership to deliver scalable and compliant LIMS solutions in regulated environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end LIMS solution architecture, design, and implementation using LabVantage and/or LabWare.


• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable laboratory informatics solutions.


• Design and configure workflows supporting sample management, laboratory execution, testing, specifications, and stability management.


• Define and implement integrations with ERP, MES, ELN, CDS, SDMS, and laboratory instruments.


• Ensure compliance with GMP, GLP, GAMP5, FDA 21 CFR Part 11, ALCOA+, and Data Integrity requirements.


• Lead computer system validation (CSV), deployment, migration, testing, and go-live activities.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• 8–10 years of experience in LIMS, Laboratory Informatics, or Life Sciences IT.


• Hands-on implementation and configuration experience with LabVantage and/or LabWare LIMS.


• Strong understanding of laboratory operations, sample lifecycle management, and quality processes.


• Experience with SQL, APIs, data migration, reporting, and enterprise system integrations.


• Strong knowledge of Computer System Validation (CSV), GxP regulations, and compliance frameworks.


• Experience working with pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, or consumer goods organizations.


• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, consulting, and problem-solving skills.


• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, Computer Science
