Job summary

Vini Elevators in Chennai seeks a field technician to install, commission, and service elevator systems. You will attend breakdowns, troubleshoot faults, inspect mechanical and electrical components, and ensure safe operation on site.

You will perform part replacements, conduct post-maintenance testing, maintain service reports, and coordinate with engineers and customers during site visits while strictly following safety procedures and company guidelines.

Job description

• Install and commission elevator/lift systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance and regular servicing.
• Attend breakdown calls and troubleshoot lift faults.
• Inspect and rectify mechanical and electrical issues.
• Check lift safety devices, switches, sensors, doors, ropes, brakes, and other components.
• Replace defective parts and carry out necessary repairs.
• Conduct testing after maintenance and repairs.
• Maintain service reports and update work status.
• Follow safety procedures and company guidelines.
• Coordinate with engineers and customers during site visits.
• Ensure timely completion of assigned service and maintenance work.
