Job summary

Standard Chartered India is seeking a Legal Counsel, Technology in Bengaluru East, Karnataka. The role involves reviewing, advising, drafting and negotiating technology and procurement contracts across multiple countries, including software, SaaS, market data and cloud services.

The counsel will support the Group’s Supply Chain Management and Country Legal teams, manage third-party risks and ensure compliance with contractual standards and applicable laws. Banking sector exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• Qualified lawyer in a common law jurisdiction with 8+ years of PQE.
• Strong knowledge of technology contracts, IP, and data protection.
• Banking industry experience is preferred but not mandatory.

Responsibilities
