Job summary

PRAMAC, a global leader in generators and material handling equipment, seeks a Legal Counsel to support its Indian operations in Pune and Kolkata. You will draft and negotiate commercial contracts, advise on corporate, employment and regulatory matters, and oversee governance and compliance with external advisers.

• LL.B. degree and qualified to practice law in India.
• Approximately 5-8 years of post-qualification experience in a law firm or in-house legal department.
• Strong knowledge of Indian commercial and corporate law; excellent drafting, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a broad range of commercial contracts.
• Providing legal advice on corporate, employment, regulatory, and compliance matters.
• Managing corporate governance and statutory compliance in coordination with external advisers.
• Identifying and mitigating legal risks while providing practical business solutions.
• Delivering legal training and promoting a culture of ethical business conduct.
