Job summary

Qualifications

• ITI in Electronics, Electrical or Instrumentation or related discipline.
• Diploma in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation or equivalent preferred.
• 5+ years hands-on experience in electronics assembly, testing, troubleshooting and laboratory support.

Responsibilities

• Support prototype build and board testing by preparing and maintaining test setups.
• Perform assembly, soldering, rework, troubleshooting, and repair of electronic boards and components.
• Prepare cable harnesses for local production and regression testing.
• Manage inventory of products, components and engineering materials, ensuring optimal stock levels.
• Maintain laboratory organization and cleanliness following 5S standards.
• Coordinate calibration schedules for test and measurement instruments.
• Provide technical support to engineering teams during development, validation and testing.
• Ensure proper maintenance and handling of laboratory equipment, tools and assets.

Job Description:

The Lead Technician provides hands‑on support for engineering development, prototype builds, testing activities, and laboratory operations. The role ensures efficient test setup preparation, assembly and rework support, inventory management, cable harness preparation, and maintenance of laboratory standards and equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support prototype build and board testing activities by preparing and maintaining test setups.
• Perform assembly, soldering, rework, troubleshooting, and repair of electronic boards and components.
• Prepare cable harnesses for local production and regression testing.
• Manage inventory of products, components, and engineering materials, ensuring optimal stock levels.
• Maintain laboratory organization and cleanliness in accordance with 5S standards.
• Monitor and coordinate calibration schedules for test and measurement instruments.
• Provide technical support to engineering teams during development, validation, and testing activities.
• Ensure proper maintenance and handling of laboratory equipment, tools, and assets.

Qualifications

• Minimum Qualification: ITI (Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, or related discipline).
• Preferred Qualification: Diploma in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, or equivalent.
• 5+ years of hands‑on experience in electronics assembly, testing, troubleshooting, and laboratory support.
• Experience working with electronic test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, and signal generators.
• Knowledge of soldering, PCB rework, cable harness assembly, and component‑level repair. Basic understanding of inventory management and 5S practices.
