Job summary

Argano seeks a Lead Technical Consultant to guide mid-to-large Oracle Cloud projects with deep technical expertise. You will provide leadership for the Oracle Cloud consulting practice, integrate Oracle Cloud SaaS solutions using OIC and DBCS, and contribute to design, coding, data analysis, and implementation efforts.

You will coach cloud teams, develop prototypes, and ensure solutions meet performance, security, and scalability objectives within Agile environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field; software engineering coursework or certifications.
• Master’s degree or PhD preferred in computer science or software engineering.
• 8+ years of Oracle ERP implementations experience.

Job description

A Lead Technical Consultant at Argano is a seasoned member of the Technical Consulting team with deep technical expertise. They are responsible for leading and managing mid-to-large software projects using Argano’s professional services and solutions. They have a deep understanding of software development and often serve as technical experts within the company. This person will provide technical leadership for the Argano Oracle Cloud consulting practice. The Senior Oracle Cloud Technical Lead will integrate and extend Oracle Cloud SaaS solutions using Platform as a Service (PaaS) offering such as Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) and Oracle Database Cloud Service (DBCS). Their responsibilities include writing code, analyzing data, and contributing to the design and implementation of software. A Lead Technical Consultant leads the analysis/design phase of the system development life cycle to develop user requirements and determines best business/technical solutions to meet those needs ensuring the ability to meet users’ implementation time frames.

• Monitors implementation activity to ensure architecture and design principles are upheld.
• Ensures implementation solutions support architecture objectives (availability, scalability, performance, security, etc.), as appropriate.
• Utilizes advanced leadership skills especially in the areas of persuasion, influence, conceptualizing solutions and problem solving.
• Communicates complicated technical concepts effectively to a broad group of stakeholders.
• Coaches and mentors Cloud Technical team members.
• Utilizes a general understanding of the competitive landscape and corporate and business unit strategies to provide context for development decision making.
• Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
• Works on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. Exercises judgment in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. Networks with key contacts outside own area of expertise.
• Design and implement solutions, gather, and analyze requirements with business owner and organize discussion and infrastructure requirement analysis to meet the defined business criteria.
• Evaluate and introduce new technologies.
• Design and develop applications, including the taxonomy of site structure.
• Administer user groups and design, including creating users and user groups and allocating required permissions.
• Meeting with project managers to determine CRM needs, developing customized solutions within the Technology platform, Designing, coding, and implementing applications.
• Creating timelines and development goals.

MINIMUM AND/OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or related field.
• Relevant coursework or certifications in programming or software development.
• Master’s degree or PhD in computer science or software engineering preferred.

Experience

• 5 - 10 years of technical consultant experience for IT companies or in related field.
• Oracle Cloud Software as a Service (SaaS) Technical Development
• Oracle Platform as a Service (PaaS) with a focus on Integration Cloud Service, Java Cloud Service, Database Cloud Service
• Experience with integration development using Oracle Middleware solutions such as SOA Suite / Fusion Middleware.
• Experience Extending Oracle SaaS footprints with PaaS (Creating custom applications in JCS or similar environment and integrating with Oracle Cloud Applications.)
• Experience with Oracle Identity Manager, LDAP, MS Active Directory and identity propagation
• Experience as solution architect / lead role in at least two full life cycle Oracle Cloud applications /On premise implementations
• Expertise with Web Services and the use of Oracle Cloud delivered Web Services (SOAP & REST).
• Experience with Oracle Cloud data conversion
• Experience with Oracle Cloud SaaS Security
• Technical skills in the creation of BI Publisher Reports; FRS (financial reporting studio) Reports and OTBI (Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence) reports
• Functional concepts and understanding of all Oracle applications.
• IT Professional with a Bachelor’s Degree in a technology-related field, with 8+ years of experience of Oracle ERP implementations.
• Experience developing customer-facing interfaces.
• Advanced knowledge of programming languages.
• Experience creating and maintaining databases.
• Experience working with Agile development technologies.
• Advanced project management skills.
• Experience managing multiple projects for different clients.
