Job summary

dsm-firmenich, Mumbai, is seeking a Lead Specialist in Pricing for the IMA region (India, Middle East & Africa). You will drive strategic pricing decisions, partner across functions, and shape both day-to-day and long-term value creation, ensuring profitability and growth in a dynamic market.

The role requires 3–5 years in pricing/finance, SAP familiarity, strong analytical skills, and fluency in English. A bachelor’s degree in commerce/finance/business admin is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in commerce, Finance, or Business Administration.
• 3–5 years’ experience in pricing, finance, or revenue management.
• Experience in manufacturing (flavours/food ingredients is a plus).
• Familiarity with SAP or similar ERP systems.
• Strong analytical and solution-oriented mindset with advanced Excel capabilities.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Deliver timely pricing support for quotation requests across the region.
• Enable sales decisions through profitability analysis and actionable recommendations.
• Partner with Sales, Technical, Procurement, Supply Chain, and Controlling stakeholders.
• Maintain and optimise regional portfolio collection pricing with high accuracy.
• Drive continuous improvement of pricing tools, systems, and processes.
• Contribute to revenue growth and margin optimisation through pricing initiatives.
