Job summary

SITA is seeking a seasoned FP&A Data Science Manager to lead the global FP&A data science capability, driving advanced analytics, forecasting, and performance management across finance. You will bridge Finance, Technology and business stakeholders to ensure data assets, predictive models and reporting tools support better decision making and improved business outcomes.

You will own the FP&A Data Science roadmap, guide forecasting and analytical solution development, and manage a team of data

Qualifications

• Typically 7–10+ years of experience in data science, analytics, finance analytics or related disciplines.
• Experience leading analytical projects and managing stakeholders.
• Experience mentoring or managing technical team members.
• Experience designing and deploying machine‑learning models.
• Experience in financial planning, forecasting or corporate finance environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the FP&A Data Science strategy.
• Develop a portfolio of advanced analytics and AI initiatives aligned to Finance priorities.
• Establish standards, methodologies and governance for analytical models and reporting solutions.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and identify opportunities to improve planning and forecasting processes.
• Own and enhance usage‑based forecasting models supporting revenue planning.
• Develop predictive and machine‑learning models to improve forecast accuracy.
• Lead scenario and sensitivity analysis supporting strategic planning and investment decisions.
• Continuously monitor model performance and implement improvements.
• Lead a centralized FP&A BI service supporting finance stakeholders.
• Define dashboard standards and reporting architecture.
• Ensure high‑quality, scalable and automated reporting solutions using Power BI and Microsoft Fabric.
• Drive self‑service reporting capabilities across FP&A.
• Identify relationships and drivers behind revenue, margin, ACV, cash flow and operational performance metrics.
• Conduct exploratory data analysis to uncover actionable insights.
• Translate complex analysis into clear business recommendations.
• Lead the integration of machine learning capabilities into finance processes and systems.
• Act as business lead for AI‑related initiatives involving OneStream, ERP and other finance platforms.
• Partner with Information Services to deploy analytical solutions in production environments.
• Manage a portfolio of analytical projects from concept through delivery.
• Engage senior stakeholders including CFO leadership, FP&A, Treasury, Corporate Control and business finance teams.
• Balance competing priorities and ensure delivery against agreed objectives.
• Manage, coach and develop FP&A Data Scientists.
• Create a culture of innovation, continuous improvement and technical excellence.
• Provide mentoring and quality assurance for analytical deliverables.

PURPOSE

The FP&A Data Science Manager is responsible for leading SITA’s FP&A Data Science capability and driving the application of advanced analytics, machine learning and business intelligence across financial planning, forecasting and performance management.

The role combines technical leadership, stakeholder management and people leadership. The position acts as the bridge between Finance, Technology and business stakeholders, ensuring that data assets, predictive models and analytical tools support better decision making and improved business performance.

The Manager owns the FP&A Data Science roadmap, leads the development of forecasting and analytical solutions, manages the FP&A Data Science team and drives adoption of emerging technologies including AI and machine learning.

Key Responsibilities

Data Science Leadership

• Define and execute the FP&A Data Science strategy.
