Job summary

SA Technologies in Bangalore seeks a Lead Software Tester to head test automation efforts. You will define test strategies, drive automation, and guide QA teams while ensuring seamless collaboration with development, product, and DevOps teams across releases and production rollouts.

The ideal candidate brings 5–10 years of manual and automation testing experience, strong JUnit/TestNG knowledge, and hands-on framework development in an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of experience in Manual Testing and/or Automation Testing (Automation preferred).
• Proven experience in leading or mentoring QA teams.
• Strong experience in test design, execution, and maintenance.
• Solid knowledge of JUnit and TestNG frameworks.
• Hands-on experience in building or maintaining test automation frameworks.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

JobDescription:

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support changemanagement activities across the product change and release managementprocess.
• Define, implement, andown test strategies, test plans, and quality metrics.
• Hands-on involvement inmanual and automation testing, with a focus on risk-based testing.
• Design, review, andmaintain test cases, test scenarios, and automation frameworks.
• Guide and mentor QA teammembers on best practices, tools, and frameworks.
• Review test results,identify defects, perform root cause analysis, and drive defectresolution.
• Collaborate closely withdevelopers, product owners, DevOps, and release teams.

Profile

Required Experience

• 5–10 years of experiencein Manual Testing and/or Automation Testing (Automation preferred)
• Proven experience inleading or mentoring QA teams
• Strong experience intest design, execution, and maintenance
• Solid knowledge of JUnitand TestNG frameworks
• Hands-on experience in building or maintaining test automation frameworks

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills

• Working knowledge ofTricentis Tosca (preferred, not mandatory)
• Proficiency in Seleniumand Core Java
• Strong understanding ofObject-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts
• Experience with versioncontrol systems (e.g., Git)
• Knowledge of API testautomation
