Job summary

Cadence is hiring a Senior Software Engineer in Pune, India to design and develop reusable geometry, visualization, and simulation software components. The candidate will follow coding standards within a structured development process and contribute to CI/CD pipelines for release automation.

The role requires 7+ years in C/C++/Python, with exposure to client-server programming, multithreading, and experience on Windows and Linux.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in C/C++/Python programming with exposure to client server programming.
• Working knowledge of C# (Or Java), Multithreading.
• Experience in working on Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Understanding of software components architecture and API designs (reusable software).
• Experience with any one test frameworks e.g. GoogleTest, PyTest etc.
• Release and build automation with Azure Git Pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop reusable software components like Geometry/Visualization/Simulation.
• Quick learner who can follow set coding standards in accordance with a development methodology and processes.
• Utilizes software engineering tools such as configuration management systems, build processes, and debuggers in the software development process defined by the organization (CI/CD).
• Designs, Creates, and executes new set of test automation framework/functionality as part of a software project.
• Willing to take technical ownership of the project by architecting innovative solutions.
• Proactive in maintaining highest quality of components used by multiple products.

Work Experience

7+ years of experience in C/C++/Python programming with exposure to client server programming

• Object-oriented language, Software Architecture, Build System, Debugging
• Low level understanding of Geometry/Visualization software development
• Domain expertise in CAD/CAM/CAE would be an added advantag
• AI Assisted coding exposure
• Good aptitude, multi-tasking and passion to develop simulation software with minimum supervision.
