Job summary

EPAM Systems in Bengaluru is seeking a Lead Java Developer to join a high-performance team in a hybrid environment. You will drive design, implement scalable Java applications, and mentor junior engineers across microservices, Spring, and frontend integration with Angular.

The role requires 6–12 years of hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and cloud-aware development. You will engage in code reviews, performance tuning, and collaboration with product and QA teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Strong proficiency in Java and Spring frameworks.
• Hands-on with Angular, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3.
• Experience in developing and consuming REST APIs and working with SQL/NoSQL databases.
• Familiar with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Exposure to Cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), Docker & Kubernetes.
