Qualifications

• 8+ years building front-end apps, microservices and REST APIs.
• Hands-on Java, Node.js and SpringBoot for API/microservices development.
• Deep AWS experience: ECS, Lambda, DynamoDB, SQS, CloudWatch.
• Solid DynamoDB and Aurora DB background.
• Agile mindset and API testing experience.
• Working knowledge of Splunk for monitoring.
• Excellent client-facing communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and able to navigate ambiguity.
• Experience coordinating with CTO and API Economy initiatives.
• Ability to clarify technical ambiguity and deliver defined solutions.

Requirements

• Proven track record with 8+ years building front-end applications, microservices, and REST APIs
• Hands-on experience with Java, Node.js, and SpringBoot for API and microservices development
• Deep understanding of AWS Cloud services including ECS, Lambda, DynamoDB, SQS, and CloudWatch
• Solid background working with database technologies such as DynamoDB and Aurora
• Practical knowledge of Agile methodology and API testing tools
• Working knowledge of monitoring platforms such as Splunk
• Strong client-facing communication skills with confident presentation ability
• High attention to detail with comfort navigating ambiguity while keeping work organized
• Demonstrated experience leading teams and coordinating with groups like Vanguard Database, the CTO organization, and API Economy initiatives
• Ability to clarify technical ambiguity and deliver well-defined solutions
