Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced QAD ERP Functional Specialist in India to own Order to Cash and Finance domains. You will gather requirements, design system solutions, and lead configuration, testing, and deployment efforts.

The role includes troubleshooting, creating process maps, and training end-users. The ideal candidate has 10+ years in manufacturing ERP, strong OT Cash and GL/AR/AP, and familiarity with Progress 4GL and integrations.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on QAD ERP functional experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Deep expertise in Order to Cash and Finance functions.
• Experience with sales order management, invoicing, AR and collections; GL, AP and cost accounting.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business stakeholders to gather, document, and translate requirements into system solutions
• Lead and support QAD configuration, testing, and deployment activities
• Analyze and troubleshoot ERP issues and drive root cause analysis and resolution
• Develop functional specifications, process maps, and user documentation
• Coordinate and facilitate user acceptance testing
• Provide end-user training and post-go-live hypercare support
• Collaborate with technical teams on customizations, reports, and integrations
• Identify continuous improvement opportunities across ERP-supported processes
• Support upgrade, patch, and migration projects as needed

Requirements

• 10+ years of hands-on QAD ERP functional experience in a manufacturing environment
• Deep expertise in at least two functional areas: Order to Cash and Finance
• Order to Cash expertise including sales order management, customer invoicing, AR, and collections
• Finance expertise including GL, AP, AR, cost accounting, and financial reporting
• Proven ability to manage the full project lifecycle from requirements through design, testing, and deployment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills with technical and non-technical audiences
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Familiarity with QAD database schema and underlying data model preferred
• Exposure to Progress 4GL programming language preferred
• Experience with QAD Enterprise Edition (EE) or QAD Adaptive ERP preferredKnowledge of manufacturing business processes, including production planning, inventory, and procurement preferred
• Experience supporting EDI, third-party integrations, or BI/reporting tools preferred
