Product Engineer – Tempus Signoff ECO
Selected candidate will work as a Product Engineer for Cadence’s flagship Tempus signoff ECO solution. The Product Engineer plays a key role in validating, improving and regressing functionality of the Tempus product to achieve a high quality solution.
Responsibilities
- Validate, improve, and regress Cadence’s state of the art Tempus signoff ECO solution product.
- Work closely with R&D professionals and senior product engineers to define product specifications and product release teams to enhance product quality addressing the unique and complex needs of Tempus ECO customers and market.
- Develop product flows to improve quality and performance.
- Define test methodologies and automate various processes to make the overall system efficient.
Qualifications
Education: MS in Electrical/Electronics/Computer Engineering with 3+ years of experience or BE/BTech in Electrical/Computer/Electronics Engineering with 4+ relevant experience.
Required Experience:
- In-depth knowledge of static timing analysis, signal integrity, delay calculation, timing constraints, report_timing commands, timing analysis, Verilog, and debug skills.
- Experience with timing and power closure using ECO (automated and manual).
- Knowledge of front-end/back-end design flow and familiarity with physical design implementation platforms like Innovus or similar tools.
- Ability to envision automation requirements and execute them in scripting languages such as Perl, TCL, Python, or C Shell.
- Knowledge of QA practices, methodologies, and procedures.
- Experience with timing sign‑off solutions at block or full chip level considered a plus.
- Strong understanding of scripting languages like TCL, Perl, and shell.
