Job summary

GMR Group is seeking a BPMS Leader to drive a strategic transformation leveraging SAP Signavio within the S/4HANA RISE initiative. The role embeds Kaizen culture, partners with SI and internal teams, and leads cross-functional process improvements across the enterprise.

The candidate will own the process mining lifecycle, establish sustainable reviews, and deliver insights to executive leadership to enable agile and data-driven decision making.

Qualifications

• Total 15-20 years of experience in process mining and BPM.
• Hands-on expertise with SAP Signavio Process Intelligence and BPM tools.
• Proven track record in S/4HANA/ERP transformation initiatives.
• Strong leadership with experience managing small teams and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Experience applying Lean/Kaizen/Six Sigma methods in iterative projects.
• Familiarity with SAP RISE methodology and its impact on processes.
• Excellent analytical, facilitation, and presentation skills.

Job description

Job Purpose

The BPMS Leader will champion a strategic and ongoing business process transformation initiative, leveraging SAP Signavio and complementary capabilities as part of the broader S/4HANA RISE implementation. This role is pivotal in embedding a culture of continuous improvement (Kaizen) across the organization by closely collaborating with the System Integrator (SI) and internal stakeholders.

The leader will drive process transparency, proactively identify optimization opportunities, and lead cross-functional transformation initiatives that align with the Group’s strategic objectives. This position demands a specialized skill set in Business Process Management and Mining (BPMS) and plays a critical role in ensuring sustained process excellence and agility across the enterprise.

Key Accountabilities

• Lead and Govern the End-to-End Process Mining Lifecycle


• Take full ownership of the business process mining lifecycle across targeted functions, utilizing SAP Signavio and other advanced tools and methodologies. Ensure that process models, insights, and performance metrics are continuously updated, refreshed, and aligned with evolving business needs. Establish a sustainable cadence for process reviews and refinements, embedding process intelligence as a live, dynamic capability within the organization.


• Institutionalize Process Excellence Across the Organization


• Drive a culture of operational excellence by systematically analysing current (\"as-is\") processes to uncover inefficiencies, redundancies, and areas for optimisation. Leverage process mining insights to inform targeted interventions, streamline workflows, and enhance overall process performance, ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives.


• Align Process Models with S/4HANA Best Practices


• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, System Integrators (SIs), and internal teams to ensure that business process models are harmonised with S/4HANA configurations and industry-leading practices, enabling a smooth and value-driven transformation.


• Champion Continuous Improvement through Kaizen


• Lead a Kaizen-based approach to continuous process improvement by facilitating workshops, driving engagement across teams, and ensuring follow-through on improvement actions to embed a culture of operational excellence.


• Integrate BPM with the S/4HANA RISE Journey


• Ensure seamless alignment between BPM initiatives and the S/4HANA RISE programme, focusing on process harmonisation, standardisation, and transformation mapping to support scalable and future-ready operations.


• Establish and Monitor Process KPIs


• Define, track, and analyse key process performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of process improvements and ensure alignment with strategic business outcomes.


• Deliver Insightful Communication to Leadership


• Synthesize and present process mining insights, improvement opportunities, and strategic recommendations to executive leadership and steering committees in a clear, data-driven, and compelling manner.


• Lead/Manage a team of BPMS specialists to establish and drive the activities of the practice

Relevant Experience

• Total 15-20 years of experience with relevant experience in process mining, business process management (BPM) ï


• Hands-on expertise with SAP Signavio Process Intelligence and related BPM tools. ï


• Proven track record of working on or alongside S/4HANA or ERP transformation programmes, ideally within a large enterprise or conglomerate. ï


• Strong leadership skills with experience managing small teams and cross-functional stakeholders. ï


• Demonstrated ability to apply Lean / Kaizen / Six Sigma methodologies in practical, iterative cycles. ï


• Familiarity with SAP RISE methodology and its implications on business processes. ï


• Excellent analytical, facilitation, and presentation skills.

Preferred Skills/Experience

• SAP Signavio certification or formal training. ï


• Prior experience in leading BPM interventions within a large-scale S/4HANA migration and steady state business ï


• Background in manufacturing, energy, infrastructure, or similar industries (preferred but not mandatory). ï


• Working knowledge of change management and stakeholder alignment in complex programmes.
