BinQle is seeking a Lead Power System Engineer in Bangalore to lead a team conducting network studies, modeling, simulation, and analysis for renewable energy and storage projects. Responsibilities

• Execute load flow, short circuit, harmonic, steady state, and dynamic/transient stability studies for transmission and distribution networks.
• Lead study planning, assign tasks, and ensure timely, high quality deliverables.
• Build and validate detailed models of generators, inverters, transformers, lines, loads, and protection devices in industry-standard tools.
• Oversee model governance, review peer models, and maintain a validated model library.
• Perform SLDs for use cases defined by the PM and integrate within tools.
• Build models into Digi SILENT, run tests to ensure correctness, and support Python interfacing to tooling UI.

Role Summary:

Lead a team in conducting network studies, modeling, simulation, and analysis for renewable energy and energy storage systems. Support project design and grid-integration studies, including protection coordination and planning for generation, transmission, and distribution projects.

What Youll Do:

• Execute load flow, short circuit, harmonic, steady state, and dynamic/transient stability studies for transmission and distribution networks
• Lead study planning, assign tasks, and ensure timely, high quality deliverables
• Build and validate detailed models of generators, inverters, transformers, lines, loads, and protection devices in industry-standard tools
• Oversee model governance, review peer models, and maintain a validated model library
• Perform SLD for use cases defined by the PM to be incorporated within the tools
• Build models into Dig SILENT, perform tests to ensure correctness, and support the back-end team in development of Python code interfacing Power Tools UI with Dig SILENT
• Validate use cases with key users and PM, and propose enhancements for the tools

What We re Looking For (Must-Haves):

• Experience modeling power system elements for steady state, transient, and EMT studies
• Experience with PSS E or Dig SILENT
• Experience in network studies, simulation, and analysis for renewable energy and energy storage systems

Good to Have (Optional - only if mentioned):

• Experience with PSCAD, ETAP, and MATLAB
• Familiarity with Python code development for tool interfacing
