Job summary

A global technology and engineering powerhouse is seeking a Lead Painting Inspector in Dahej, Gujarat. The ideal candidate will have 10-12 years of experience in Medium/Large Fabrication Shops and at least 7 years as Painting Personnel. Responsibilities include overseeing QC and painting operations, coordinating inspections, and ensuring compliance with standards. Required qualifications include a Diploma/Degree in Engineering and various welding certifications.   • Handling all QC/Painting work related to Equipment, Structures, and Piping.

About the opportunity we offer:
  • Responsible for Various QC & Painting Functions such as Receipt, In‑process, Final Inspections & Documentations.
  • Able to co‑ordinate and monitor mechanical QC/Painting activities.
  • Handling all QC/Painting work related to Equipment, Structures, Piping & Heater/Furnace, Skid activities, review and approval, documentation and record keeping.
  • Technical Communication (Verbal & Written)
  • Self‑motivated and result oriented
  • Good internal networking and team player
  • Must have Welding Certification, CSWIP & Painting Certification NACE Level II or equivalent with Hands On.
  • Must know different welding processes and inspection.
  • Shall be able to prepare interpret WPS/PQR/WPQ/Welder list as per ASME/ISO Standards
  • Shall have experience and certification in AWS/CSWIP and API Standards of pressure vessel (preferable)
  • Interpret codes, standards, specifications, and procedures.
  • should have attended various Audits
  • should have sufficient practical background in applicable materials, fabrication, and product technology
  • Knowledge of: National and International Codes & Standards- IS, IBR, ASME, TEMA, DIN, EN, AWS D1.1 etc. & relevant experience
  • Welding processes : SAW, ESSC, SMAW, GTAW, FCAW, GMAW
  • Metallurgy : CS, LAS, SS, Duplex/Super Duplex, non‑ferrous materials such as Monel, Inconel, Titanium, etc.
  • Heat Treatment methods

Starting Date: 2nd January 2026
