Job summary

NSDL Payments Bank Limited in Mumbai seeks a Lead of Network Reconciliation to oversee reconciliation processes across products, drive accuracy, and mitigate risks. The role requires strong supervisory experience, collaboration with finance and IT, and adherence to regulatory standards. Digital banking exposure is preferred.

The candidate will manage a team, produce periodic compliance and performance reports, and ensure timely resolution of disputes and discrepancies.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in banking/financial services sector.
• At least 3 years in middle/senior management position with at least 2 years in a leadership role in reconciliation or operations.
• Experience supervising or leading a team.
• Exposure to digital banking ecosystem preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervision of reconciliation process team for financial transactions across products, ensuring timely and accurate matching of records.
• Monitor and mitigate operational risks associated with payment processing.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal policies (KYC/AML, regulatory standards) throughout the reconciliation process.
• Address account maintenance queries during the reconciliation process.
• Prepare periodic reports on account opening activities, team performance, and compliance metrics for senior management, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
• Handle internal, external, regulatory and compliance audits as required.
• Work closely with finance, operations, and IT teams to facilitate smooth reconciliation processes and support operational goals.
