Job description
  • Lead and manage the end-to-end land acquisition process, ensuring compliance with legal and procedural requirements.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with local communities, government authorities, and other stakeholders to facilitate project execution.
  • Strategize and implement effective local liaisoning frameworks to address community concerns and ensure smooth project operations.
  • Collaborate with legal teams to resolve land-related disputes and ensure adherence to statutory requirements.
  • Provide strategic inputs to the Head Project on land-related risks and mitigation strategies.
  • Monitor and report on land acquisition progress, ensuring alignment with project timelines and budgets.
  • Facilitate the acquisition of necessary permissions and clearances from local authorities to support project development.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for local stakeholders, ensuring transparent communication and fostering trust.
  • Support the Coal to Chemical business unit’s operational goals by ensuring land availability for current and future projects.
  • Drive initiatives to enhance community engagement and promote sustainable development practices.
Qualifications

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Proven expertise in land acquisition and local liaisoning, with a minimum of 10 to 15 years of relevant experience.
  • Extensive experience in managing large-scale industrial projects, preferably in the petrochemical or energy sectors.
  • Strong legal acumen related to land acquisition laws and regulations.

Educational Background

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Master’s degree in a relevant discipline is preferred.
