Job summary

Vriti in India seeks a Lead/Senior Java Developer to design, build and run Java and Spring Boot services for fintech and e-commerce products. You will own services end to end, review designs, code, test, deploy and respond to on-call incidents, leading a team of 4–8 engineers in a hybrid setup across Bengaluru, Pune, Hyderabad and Gurugram.

The role requires 6+ years of backend Java/Spring Boot experience, strong microservices, SQL, Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes and AWS skills, plus Python tooling.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of backend development with Java and Spring Boot.
• Strong experience with microservices, SQL databases and Kafka.
• Hands-on with Docker, Kubernetes and AWS.

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable REST APIs and event-driven services with Java, Spring Boot and Kafka.
• Own services end to end: design reviews, code, testing, deployment and on-call.
• Containerise services with Docker and run them on Kubernetes in AWS.
• Mentor engineers and drive code-quality and design standards.
