Job summary

Nokia is seeking a Lead IS/IT Internal Auditor in India to lead complex IT audits and advance technology-enabled auditing. You will drive risk-based assurance across cloud, cybersecurity, data platforms, and AI-enabled systems, delivering actionable recommendations.

You will collaborate with IT, Cybersecurity, Data and Business stakeholders, shaping audit programs and reporting to management with clear root-cause analyses and remediation actions.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of IT audit experience.
• Lead IT Auditor experience (1+ year).
• Experience auditing cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud).
• Knowledge of cybersecurity, IT infrastructure, and data platforms.
• Experience with data analytics and visualization tools (Power BI, SQL).
• Familiarity with COBIT, NIST, ISO 27001, SOX.

Responsibilities

• Participate in end-to-end internal audit engagements, including planning, fieldwork, reporting, and remediation follow-up.
• Develop and execute risk-based audit programs covering cloud environments, cybersecurity, data platforms, and AI-enabled systems.
• Identify, assess, and prioritize risks across IT infrastructure, applications, cloud services, and emerging technologies.
• Evaluate cybersecurity controls, vulnerability management, incident response, and data protection measures.
• Prepare AI/ML use cases with governance, model risk, data quality, bias, explainability, and regulatory compliance.
• Act as a trusted advisor to IT, Cybersecurity, Data, and Business stakeholders on technology risks and controls.
• Support in preparation of high-quality audit reports clearly articulating risks, root causes, and agreed management actions.

The Lead IS/IT Internal Auditor is responsible for leading complex IT internal audit engagements and contributing to the advancement of technology-enabled auditing within Nokia Internal Audit. The role combines strong IT audit execution capabilities with expertise in cloud, cybersecurity, data analytics, and/or Artificial Intelligence (AI) to deliver risk-based assurance and advisory services aligned with Nokia’s strategic priorities.

Key Skills And Experience

Must Have:

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, MIS or related field with 4+ years of IT audit experience, including at least 1 year in a Lead IT Auditor role.
• Proven experience auditing one or more of the following areas: Cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud)
• Cybersecurity and IT infrastructure, Data platforms
• Experience performing IT risk assessments, control testing, and remediation validation.
• Working knowledge of data analytics and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, SQL).
• Familiarity with industry standards and frameworks (e.g., COBIT, NIST, ISO 27001, SOX).

It would be nice if you also had:

• Experience in telecom or other highly regulated industries is an advantage.
