Job summary

Nike Inc. at the India Technology Center seeks a senior security engineer to lead and implement endpoint, IoT/OT, and mobile security solutions, guiding a follow-the-sun team to maintain operational stability while reducing risk.

You will design, deploy and maintain security controls protecting Nike’s systems and data, collaborate with Cyber Defense, Data Protection, Cloud Security, and Enterprise Security teams, and mentor colleagues in a fast‑paced, matrixed environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, information security, engineering, or related field.
• Industry certifications in Endpoint Security, IoT, Mobile (preferred).
• Strong problem-solving and hands-on technical skills across security domains.

WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH

You will report to the Director, Cyber Security Engineering located at India Technology Center (ITC). We are a diverse, cross-functional team that collaborates globally across the organization with a variety of stakeholders from service desk technicians to system architects, developers and lawyers. You will partner closely with Cyber Defense, Enterprise Cyber Security Consulting, Data Protection, Windows Client/Server Platform and Cloud Security/Automation teams to assess, analyze, and optimize operational tasks, functions, documenting and processes.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• We are looking for someone who is technical expert, can work on solutioning and provides hands-on technical and tactical expertise to a follow the sun team of dedicated security engineers focused on maintaining operational stability while reducing risk.
• Responsible for supporting the document, design, deployment, and ongoing maintenance of security controls that protect Nike’s systems and data.
• Our realm of capabilities and toolsets that we leverage include Endpoint Protection, IoT/OT (Device Security), Mobile Security, EndPoint and Advanced Threat Protection.

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON

• Expert knowledge and strong problem-solving skills in at least two technology skills Endpoint, IoT or Mobile Security or more of the listed capabilities/toolsets and thrive on your ability to determine root cause and provide relevant solutions and operationalize technology with minimum 10+ years of experience in relevant technology areas. Who have played the role of an technical lead and guided the team members day to day basis and have security first mind set.
• An operational mindset is in your blood; the ad-hoc change of evening or weekend plans is seen as an opportunity to grow and excel.
• Provide Endpoint solutions, design, implement and work on operational needs of endpoint solution.
• Ability to juggle multiple priorities where you are the driving force ensuring completion and on-time delivery.
• Work on IoT related POCs, architect IoT/OT solutions, should have knowledge and experience on implementation of any of the IoT products. Come up with solutions for any complex problems related to IoT/OT.
• Experience implementing mobile security solutions, developing governance frameworks, conducting mobile security audits, and defining appropriate mobile security policies when needed.
• Cloud, automation and scripting aren’t just buzz words but synonymous with your delivery methods.
• Able to guide the team, coach and provide technical expertise, and who can adapt to the challenging and dynamic environment.

• You leverage excellent written and verbal communication skills in a clear business relevant manner that is adjusted to the audience; up, down and across the organization.

• Industry certifications relevant to the role: Endpoint Security, IoT, Mobile, CISSP, CEH provide an added advantage.
