Qualifications

• ServiceNow SAM Pro Developer with 7+ years ITAM/SAM Pro Development experience.
• ITOM/CMD/ITAM certification or equivalent.
• Strong coding skills in Java, Python, and .Net with solid debugging.
• Experience with microservices, containers, messaging queues, and REST services.
• Relational and NoSQL databases, data mapping, XML/JSON.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement software components as per design docs and specs (CI/CD ready).
• Architect solutions, test code, and deploy in CI/CD pipelines.
• Provide estimates for development work and guide features/technologies.
• Maintain SAM application components and data model; support discovery for SAM.

Required Technical and Professional Experience

• ServiceNow SAM Pro Developer-->
• Min 7 years of experience in ITAM/SAM Pro Development.
• ServiceNow certified professional (at‑least one ITOM/CMD/ITAM).
• Advise on asset data model and attributes.
• Solution maintenance for SAM application.
• Set up new templates for new Publishers purchased entitlements.
• Resolve Software distribution issues related to SAM Pro.
• Support Discovery for Software Asset Management.
• Load Entitlements and allocations.
• Resolve mappers (discovery data to appropriate products).
• Work with client to normalize new SW products/models.
• Excellent coding skills and solid development experience (Java, Python, .Net etc.) with debugging and problem‑solving skills
• Software development methodologies, with demonstrated experience developing scalable and robust software
• Experienced in relational and NoSQL databases, data mapping, XML/JSON, Rest based web services
• Knowledge of architecture design - Microservices architecture, containers (Docker & k8s), messaging queues
• Deep understanding of OOP and Design patterns
• Deep knowledge in ITOM/CMDB/Service Mapping -
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
• Certification in one or more of the hyperscalers (Azure, AWS, and Google GCP) - otherwise, you can obtain certifications with Kyndryl
• Experience with DevOps tools and modern engineering practices
