Job Description

This role for an experienced full-stack lead engineer to provide people engineering SME and support to our business partners in the Asset Management. The candidate should be hands on in advanced programing, visualization, analytical models and algorithms. The candidate should demonstrate strong technical/problem solving skills, manage multiple projects collaboratively and ensure adherence to enterprise standards. You’ll work with smart, talented people across our business to create innovative, next-generation cloud-based applications, and analytics/models. You’ll be involved, hands-on, through the entire development cycle. And you’ll redefine the way our traders, portfolio managers and analysts support our clients.

We are looking for a Full Stack Developer Lead with strong expertise in Python, React, SQL, and AWS to build and support scalable enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will be responsible for application design, development, testing, deployment, and production support while collaborating closely with business and technology teams.

Key Responsibilities

Planning & Analysis

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and project goals.
• Perform impact analysis, solution design, and effort estimation.
• Participate in code reviews and provide technical guidance to development teams

Design & Development

• Design and develop web applications using Python, React, SQL, and AWS
• Build REST APIs, backend services, and responsive user interfaces.
• Create technical designs, engineering specifications, and low-level design documents
• Ensure adherence to coding standards and SDLC processes

Testing & Deployment

• Develop and execute unit tests
• Support integration, UAT, and production deployments
• Troubleshoot issues and provide timely resolution during testing and post-production

Documentation & Support

• Maintain technical, operational, and project documentation.
• Provide production support and application enhancements.
• Identify opportunities to improve application performance, reliability, and scalability

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in software development.
• Strong hands-on experience with: Python (Fast API, Flask, or Django)React.jsSQL (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL) AWS (EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, API Gateway)
• Experience with REST APIs, Git, CI/CD, and Agile methodologies.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
• AWS certification preferred.
• Experience working in cloud-native and microservices-based environments
