We are seeking an experienced Lead, FP&A, to manage the Reporting function for Medline Europe (EMEA) and provide additional support to international teams as needed. The successful candidate will oversee recurring reporting activities, coordinate reporting transitions, and ensure the delivery of accurate financial reports, dashboards, and management reporting while mentoring a small team of analysts.
Responsibilities
- Team Leadership
- Manage and develop a team of analysts, guiding their growth and ensuring high-quality work.
- Allocate and monitor deliverables to ensure timely completion of reporting activities.
- Set objectives, provide feedback, and support capability development.
- Conduct performance reviews and promote team engagement.
- Serve as backup for the reporting manager and support other team members when required.
- Financial Reporting
- Prepare recurring financial reports (monthly, quarterly, annual) accurately and on time.
- Oversee CFA decks, flash reports, dashboards, KPI trackers, and management reporting packs.
- Review team reports to ensure quality and adherence to standards.
- Support month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end reporting activities.
- Handle GAAP reporting through Oracle PBCS/EPBCS and related systems.
- Ensure consistency, completeness, and governance across all reports and systems.
- Reporting Support & Coordination
- Work closely with onshore stakeholders to meet reporting timelines.
- Support transition of reporting activities into the GCC/shared services environment.
- Coordinate with cross‑functional teams for inputs, issue resolution, and timely closure.
- Maintain documentation, SOPs, trackers, and process notes.
- Process Improvement
- Continuously evaluate and improve reporting processes for efficiency and accuracy.
- Identify automation opportunities using reporting and analytics tools and implement enhancements.
- Stakeholder Management
- Build and maintain relationships with onshore and offshore stakeholders.
- Manage expectations, address concerns, and raise issues as needed.
- Ensure effective communication across teams and geographies.
- Ad Hoc Reporting Support
- Respond to ad hoc reporting requests and data requirements from stakeholders.
- Provide accurate and timely analysis to support business partners.
Skills & Experience
- Experience working cross‑functionally in a global organization.
- At least 2 years of team management experience.
- 7–10 years in financial reporting, finance operations, or reporting support roles.
- Preferred experience in shared services/GCC environments.
- Strong technical accounting and practical understanding of accounting principles.
- Advanced skills in MS Office, particularly Excel (Power Query, Power Pivot) and PowerPoint.
- Experience with ERP systems, preferably QAD.
- Hands‑on or working knowledge of Oracle PBCS/EPBCS.
- Exposure to Power BI, Alteryx, dashboards, and reporting automation tools is a plus.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and coordination skills.

Educational Qualifications
- CA/CMA or MBA from a reputable institute.
- 7–10 years of relevant post‑qualification experience.
- Hands‑on experience with Oracle PBCS, ERP systems, Power BI, and reporting tools is preferred.
