Job summary

Qwickly Ventures seeks a Lead Engineer-Cloud (AVP) to oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of our cloud infrastructure in Navi Mumbai. You will ensure high availability, performance, and security while managing compute, storage, and networking resources.

This role requires strong leadership and collaboration with cross-functional teams. Ideal candidates have extensive automation experience using Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes, with deep knowledge of cloud security and IaC

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in cloud infrastructure management.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure and services.
• Proficiency in automation and scripting using tools like Terraform.
• Understanding of cloud security principles and best practices.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.

Job Role Purpose & Objective : Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of cloud infrastructure. Ensure the availability, performance, and security of cloud environments. Manage cloud resources, including compute, storage, and networking components.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE :

Cloud Infrastructure Management

Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of cloud infrastructure. Ensure the availability, performance, and security of cloud environments. Manage cloud resources, including compute, storage, and networking components.

Automation & Scripting

Develop and maintain automation scripts using tools like Terraform to streamline cloud operaImplement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices to ensure consistency and repeatability.

Cloud Security

Implement and manage security measures to protect cloud environments. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. Monitor and respond to security incidents.

Collaboration & Support

Work closely with development, operations, and security teams to ensure seamless integration and support of cloud services. Provide technical guidance and support to team members.

Continuous Improvement

Stay updated with the latest cloud technologies and best practices. Identify opportunities for improvement and implement changes to enhance cloud infrastructure and operations.
