Tejas Networks Ltd. in Bengaluru is seeking a Lead Engineer to drive system integration strategy across 4G/5G platforms. You will lead cross-functional teams, mentor engineers and own integration and validation outcomes to align with architectural goals.

The role requires hands-on leadership, strong debugging and test planning, and alignment with release milestones for 4G eNodeB and evolving 5G gNB systems.

Formación

  • 7 to 10 years of experience in Telecommunication or Networking.
  • B.Tech/BE in CSE/ECE or equivalent.

  • Govern integration issues, risks and dependencies with proactive escalation.
  • Mentor engineers, review test strategies and establish best practices.

Job Description:

The Lead Engineer is responsible for driving system integration strategy and execution across wireless communication products, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery. The role combines hands‑on technical leadership, cross‑functional coordination, and ownership of integration outcomes across 4G eNodeB and evolving 5G gNB systems. The Lead Engineer leads integration planning, validation strategy, and complex issue resolution, while mentoring engineers, managing priorities, and ensuring alignment with architectural, process, and release goals.

Responsibilities
  • Drive end-to-end system integration activities across 4G and 5G releases, ensuring alignment with product roadmap
  • Analyze and translate system and feature requirements into integration strategy, scope, and phased validation plans
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration with software, hardware, verification, and field teams for seamless integration
  • Own creation, execution, and optimization of integration and system‑level test strategies
  • Identify and resolve complex cross-domain system issues, driving root cause analysis and closure across teams
  • Define and influence verification and field‑testing scope, ensuring end-to-end system readiness
  • Support customer use cases, field escalations, and delivery roadmap decisions with technical insights
  • Ensure tracking and governance of integration issues, risks, and dependencies with proactive escalation management
  • Mentor engineers, review test strategies and artifacts, and establish best practices for integration and validation
Mandatory Skills:
  • Working in 4G/5G eNB/gNB product with strong involvement in integrating L1, L2, L3 & OAM components as a SIT feature/maintenance release.
  • System Integration testing: Hands‑on experience in
    oEnd to End testing on 4G/5G eNB/gNB elements.
    oTesting the Layer 1, 2 and 3 functionality and features.
    oValidating the functionality compliance to standards, specification and requirements
    oVerifying 3GPP call flows and scenarios
    oUsing the simulator and emulator for network and traffic simulation (Preferred TM500/E500, Keysight, SIMNOVOUS, etc.
    oAnalyzing logs, pcap (FAPI and FH Pcap analysis) and radio parameters analysis.
    oMAC, RLC and PDCP log analysis
  • Must have good knowledge and hands on experience on wireless and networking protocols
  • Exposure to RU/MU‑MIMO and Integration with BBU.
  • Should have worked on Core Features like LA, Power control, Data Forwarding etc.
  • Creating test campaigns for positive and negative field scenarios, call models.
  • Strong log analysis and feature co‑relation skills
  • Good experience in using the standard software version controller like GIT/GERRIT
  • Must have good knowledge in SDLC
Desired Skills:
  • Good to have Core SIM knowledge to configure RAN and test.
  • Skills of continuous build integration and automation.
  • Hands on experience with Bash and Python scripting
  • Skills in automation and automation framework
Qualifications
  • Experience: 7 to 10 yrs from Telecommunication or Networking background.
  • Education: B.Tech/BE (CSE/ECE) or any other equivalent degree
