Job summary

Purview Services is seeking a Lead DevOps Engineer to drive secure, scalable infrastructure and release processes. You will design and automate provisioning using IaC tools, manage containerized workloads with Docker and Kubernetes, and collaborate across engineering teams to ensure smooth, secure deployments.

The role requires strong scripting skills in Python/Bash/PowerShell, experience with GitHub-based release management, and proficiency with Linux (Red Hat) troubleshooting.

Qualifications

• Experience in a DevOps, Development, or Infrastructure Engineering role with a focus on security.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Ansible, Terraform or FAST API DevOps.
• Expertise in scripting and automation using Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Strong understanding of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm).
• Experience of software release management using GitHub
• Experience with Linux troubleshooting e.g. Red Hat
• Self-starter, highly organized and ability to speak to across teams and get things done.
• Excellent time management and focus on the high priority deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement secure DevOps pipelines and release processes.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using IaC tools.
• Develop and maintain scripts for automation and monitoring in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Manage containerized workloads with Docker and Kubernetes, including Helm charts.
• Coordinate with development, security, and operations teams to ensure fast, reliable releases.

Job Description:

Must:

• Experience in a DevOps, Development, or Infrastructure Engineering role with a focus on security.

• Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and cloud security best practices.
• Front end automation experience such as vanilla JavaScript, React, Angular
• Cyber Certifications covering topics such as SSL, SSO, Firewalls or Networking
